Senior spotlight: Warren Central golf

This is part of a series of stories recognizing Warren County’s senior athletes who had their 2020 spring seasons cut short because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Vicksburg Post will attempt to recognize all of Warren County’s spring teams and athletes.

Anna Bull

Anna has been a longtime member of Warren Central’s golf team, and is the daughter of Patricia and John Bull. Her favorite memory is playing against her friend from Clinton. She plans to attend Hinds Community College.

Macy Broome
Macy is the daughter of Randy and Missy Broome, and plans to attend Hinds Community College. Her favorite memory is having fun at tournaments.

Leanna Goss
Leanna plans to attend Hinds Community College, and said her favorite sports memories are, “Having fun at all the tournaments and annoying my coach.”

Josh Hallberg
Josh has been a member of Warren Central’s golf, soccer and football teams for several years.
His favorite golf memory is winning the region tournament in back-to-back seasons.
He is the son of Jackie Pettway, and plans to attend Meridian Community College to play golf.
